A couple questions from a new member.

Post by Curss »

Howdy, as of two nights ago I became the owner of a P64 manufactured in 1969. I have several questions concerning it.

First, I've read that changing out the main spring helps alot with the double action trigger pull. Will this change the single action trigger pull?

Second, has anyone sent one of these guns off to Novak or any other company for better sights? I've read up on it and seen several examples with painted sights and glow in the dark paints but no actual custom sight work.

Third, I've read somewhere that a Mr. Norm Sutton has replacement trigger and slide stop springs. How much are they and how do I contact him?

The mainspring will also affect single action pull... makes it a lot lighter even though it's already light.

Haven't heard of anyone sending one off to Novak.

Mr Norm Sutton is around here all the time. Here is the link to get his goodies.

Go a little ways down. If you want to get him directly, go to almost any topic and you'll see his name on there and send him a private message.

Welcome!

Oooh crappers.

Thanks a bunch for the info! :D

One more question:

Are the springs advertised not cut to length yet? I noticed the instructions talk about cutting them.
