Just a thought for a thread about P-64s in the media. I'm mostly curious if our lil' babies have made appearances in shows, movies, etc.
What brought this to mind: recently I loaned my P-64 to a friend for filming a short video for school (link http://youtube.com/watch?v=KQUhmIATuqY). Of course, I gave him a rundown on safety, did not provide him any ammo, and removed the firing pin (thanks to the guide here) for safety.
The P-64 was a hit with 'cast and crew,' who were impressed with the solid construction and size. Maybe one or two will remember the P-64 when it comes time to purchase a firearm... ;D

Sounds like you were pretty responsible with the loan. I think I have see some P-64's in a couple of movies, but I'm not sure.

If you don't see your gun in a movie...make your own. ;D

Someone talked about them on a tv show (one of the CSI series I believe) but I don't know where that thread got to.

I thing it was a Law & Order episode and they refered to it as a "mob gun". Obviously used in a murder.

ha! mob gun... I like that, now I have to convince someone to buy my p64 at the same price as a Thompson because it's a "mob gun" That's like calling a 10/22 an assault rifle
