I have several box's of Wolf classic Ammo left that I'm trying to shoot up. Is it just my imagination or is the Wolf classic a hotter load than Silver Bear JHP. I have never noticed it before but while I was shooting today off of the mag base as a rest I could swear that the Wolf had more recoil than the Silver Bear. It actually bit me once or twice and that hasn't happened in a long time.

Wolf Classic Ammo.
only one way to find out for sure, send me all of your ammo and I'll shoot it up and tell you which one kicks more to me. ;D
Seriously though you could pull the bullets and see how much powder is in each (and the bullets are a grain different I believe, silver bear=94 & WMC=95, if that make any difference)

Wolf Classic Ammo.
Wolf travels some 60 - 75 fps faster so you may feel some additional kick.
They both have wide velocity spreads. In 20 rounds that I chronographed, the Silver Bear flew as slow as 916 fps and the Wolf flew as fast as 1069 fps. That should be noticeable.
