I went to the range and upon firing my P64 it stuck with the slide open.
I had fired approx. 35 rounds through it. This was a test of the 20# recoil and 18# hammer spring. It functioned flawlessly with Sellier and Bellot ammo and suddenly sutck.
It will not budge...any ideas?

STUCK SLIDE HELP!
Thank you for your help. Through frustration I might want to beat on this thing but I didn't expect you to tell me to! It did seem to work though.
Goodness knows why it stuck but now it's unstuck and ready for a good cleaning.
(and for you doubters, I had the recoil spring on the correct way with the narrower end over the barrel first, so we couldn't figure what got stuck)
Thanks again Norm!

STUCK SLIDE HELP!
Mine got stuck one time and I found out that I did not have the slide all the way down. When I put it back together, I messed up, never had a problem after that.

The trigger pin has a flat side & if it gets loose, it can jam the
slide big time -- I had that happen !
