now 3 P64's range day today

Post by wonbyone »

I now have three. The 1974 that I got last Thursday, put in a 22lb recoil spring and 18 lb main spring. Noticed a big difference in double action pull and single action to cock the hammer and more effort to rack the slide. Yesterday I got 2 more, 1970 model very little holster wear and short hammer, the blueing is about 98%, it looks new. I also got a 1975 that shows a little more holster wear, but very nice I'd say about 90%.
I shot all three of them today. They all kick about the same. I could not tell the difference. But I have the wolf springs already coming for the other 2.

Plan to get some video up tomorrow.

I had a ball shooting them, very accurate if I do my part. They functioned flawlessly. I had no problem keeping them in a 4" circle at 7 yards. With some more practice I know this will improve --Bill

These guns are extremely accurate. With silver bear, I'm able to place all 6 shots at 25 yards in the 9 ring, and hit 2-3 bullseyes. Even using DA, and rapid-firing puts all shots on the paper.
