I took my daughter and soon to be son in law shooting this week out in the countryside. I have a couple of noobies and I want things to stay fun and safe. Anyway my daughter gets the bright idea to hand a target on the fencing (barbed wire). She and her guy is shooting center mass. I decide to do head shots at the silouette. Anyway BAM the top wire simply cuts in two! After explaining what happend to the father in law (and repairs) he laughed it off. I was using my P-64 and standard silver bear ammo.
While I don't recall breaking a barb wire fence, I have overshot a target with a recurve bow and managed to do this.
I thought my arrow was a gonner forever, I was looking all in the grass and finally decided I was going to have to check in the field behind the fence and I saw it... stuck between the strands. Once in a lifetime shot and I doubt I'll ever do it again.
