initial cleaning

hi all...just bought a P-64, and should take delivery in a few days. the seller indicated that it was really saturated with something(preservative i guess), and needs a sure-nuff thorough cleaning. many on this board have posted their favorite way to do this. has anyone used a garage parts cleaning machine? it should really do a jim-dandy job.

I have a ULTRASONIC CLEANER that I got from http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/d ... mber=91957 and fill it up diesel fuel but I do a lot of guns and other parts too
