p64 shoots high.

p64 shoots high.

Guess its cause im used to sight picture 3, the sights straight over target, where is the p64 supposed to go? I tried 2 and it was still high one it shot low, guessing its somewhere in between.

Most military style fixed sights are calibrated like this:

For combat, most shooters use only a rudimentary sight picture and hold in the middle of the large area they wish to target... generally "center mass" or mid chest. Generally, under 7-10 yards one ignores the rear sight and focuses on the front sight and target. At that distance in a gunfight, if the front sight is on target, you will hit it.

i like to cover target with front sight, i dont like a 6 oclock hold, at p64 fighting distance though i think im good.
