Hello All,
I was bitten by the 9x18 bug a couple months ago when I purchased a nice Bulgarian Makarov. A week later I grabbed a PA-63 because I loved the looks of it and it shoots very well. (not that the Mak doesn't) My son and I were at the range this evening and he shot better with the Mak than his .40 Taurus.
This Monday I received my new to me 72 P64 and shot it for the first time this evening. I must say, I am thrilled with the way this little gun shoots. So very accurate. Tightest groups of any of the three handguns I have and the recoil was not horrendous at all. (Probably ran a box and a half through it and could have gone more) The DA trigger pull is another matter, Wolff 18 pounder on the way.
This one is no pristine beauty, has some holster wear but I bought it to carry and to shoot with. Maybe some day I'll run across one that is prettier but for now I am quite happy with what I have.
First time shooting my P64
Re: First time shooting my P64
Impressive little guns, aren't they?

Re: First time shooting my P64
The very first magazine I ran through my p-64 produced a 2.5 inch group with three holes touching each other. No bench rest, just two-hand hold at 7 yds. I like it. And yes, I also need to order some springs and a pair of shooting gloves !!!
