It's a 1954 edition. The original barrel is slightly pitted from corrosive ammo. I bought a new barrel recently and installed it. Haven't shot it again since.

These guns were normally a parkerized looking finish. When they got arsenal refurbished they were blued. Some folks think the pre-refinished ones are better, I don't see what makes them think so??? It only has 1 magazine, they're hard to come by and are expensive. It shoots 7.62x25mm Tokarev ammo. I don't want to trade it for a P-64, I bought one of those already. I kind of like the looks of the CZ-82.robalan wrote:My guess is most the guys at this site can look at it and be able to tell everything about it. I am real new at this type of thing. It looks like someone probably did some sort of refinishing. Did they and can you tell me what was used? How many mags come with it and are they available for sale somewhere? Here is a real telling question. What type of bullet does it use? Are you thinking of trading it for a P64?
If I could find a 9mm conversion barrel for this, I'd probably keep them. They don't make the 9mm barrel anymore. I suppose if I had the means of coverting one of my barrels to 9mm, then it would be worthwhile to keep. I think I'll stick with surplus. I don't think the re-barrel would work due to the chamber. The 9mm is 19mm but the 7.62 is 25mm. Darn.Arik wrote:What are you looking for? Modern? Surplus?
How about the Yugo M88? Its a yugo TT in 9mm. I've been thinking about one of these.
