loaded round pin????

Post by leadhead2 »

Hi guys,
I picked up a like new p64 yesterday and have a queston.
I striped it down to clean, and don't remember which way
the loaded round indicator goes. I installed it with the bevel
toward the firing pin. Is this right? It works but the pin doesn't
stick out very far. Could someone check to see if i'm right?
Thanks,
Denny

Yea, I've seen that, but it really doesn't show the other end where the bevel is.

The sloped side is toward the firing pin. The top of the slope is against the top of the slide. The pin is only supposed to protrude .100" to the rear, that info is straight from the manual.
