Slide going forward when mag inserted

Slide going forward when mag inserted

When shooting my P64 today, several times when loading a fresh mag, the slide went forward by itself as soon as the new mag snapped into place. :o

When cleaning the pistol tonight, everything looked OK and the problem didn't happen when inserting mags; although the ones I was fooling with at home were not loaded. Didn't want to try loaded ones and I don't have any snap caps.

Anyone had this happen to them?

don't know what the problem is with out looking at the gun the slide stop maybe worn out could be the slide stop spring I don't think its the mag's if it happens on all of them.
