Hi!

I have been wanting a P64 for SOOOOO long now, it's driving me nuts! :o

Are the P64's at JG sales are any good?

Well, I bought two about 3 months ago and Love them both. 1 looks like it was never issued and the other just has some holster wear on the front of the slide, other than that they are perfect. and they are 1968 and 1969 editions. Now I am looking for a newer one with a triangular hammer.. Will have to chat with the people at J&G about dates... But I have had great luck with my purchases from them..

Couple of friends here in FL swear by J & G Sales. I went the I.O. Inc route as my local gunshop buys their weapons. I got one that was unused for $199 plus shipping. Hardly any cosmoline on this pistol, no wear and all parts look new. Possibly sat in some armory for a long time. Shoots like a dream. ;) Good luck and welcome to the forum. Sgt P.

I ordered one from J&G last thursday and they said they would mail it out today for wednesday delivery to my ffl. I will post some pictures of it when it arrives. I have a couple of pa-63's, a couple of cz82's, and a couple of makarovs and it was time to add a p-64 to my collection of 9x18's. :)

P-64 is a nice little pistol for the money. Very sturdy as you'd expect in a gun built for military application, a surprisingly accurate shooter considering the short barrel, and the ammo is still available at reasonable prices.

If you go the J&G route pay the extra 10 bucks for hand select.
