First Round Problem

Post by torpeau »

One of my P-64s usually needs two pulls of the trigger on the first round of every magazine (authentic P-64 mags). The next five rounds fire normally, but pop in the next mag and the next mag and that first round usually has a problem. Barnaul & Silver Bear ammo.

Anyone else ever notice this?

I put 9 or 10 magazines thru this P-64 today and had the 1st round problem almost every time. Another P-64 had no problems handling 50 rounds. I realize that this doesn't make much sense, but it happens.

Yesterday I checked the firing pin and it seemed fine.
