Loose Mag

Post by daytonaknight »

Is it normal for magazines to be loose? Both my mags have about 1/16 inch of up/down play. Is this something that can be adjusted?

I'm having a similar issue. Even with a brand new aftermarket mag, they come loose at round # 5 prohibiting the slide from locking rear. That happening to you ?

The magazine's not dropping out or failing to lock the slide back or anything like that. The mag is just loose and moves up and down a bit like it's not bottoming out in the frame properly.

I do have an occasional jam and was wondering if the mag may sometimes not be in correct alignment due to the looseness.
