I visited this board and used the information I found here to make my p-64 a better pistol. I installed the wolff springs, 20lb recoil, 18 hammer, and installed some Marschall grips. The grips are red wattle with a thumb rest. I have a new gun! I brought it to a gunsmith, he is going to instal a new safety detent ball so the safety works again. Thanks to everyone who participated here.
