Good afternoon;

Good afternoon everyone;

Found this site on mouse-guns. I've had a P-64 for several mounts now, liked it so much I bought another one yesterday. I have a number of other pistols that I carried - have found that I like the 64 for concealment and back up when working. Glock 19 when working. The first 64 I have needs different grips - don't like the thumb rest, not good when using the left hand. Had to get use to the DA pull - it's like a safety - do you really want to do this? After a couple hundred rounds it's not so bad - if you have time - cock to hammer. Anything I should know about the 64? Have not had the time to read all the messages on this site.

Well, thats enough - I don't want to bore anyone. Just glad I found this place for the 64.

wosj,

Welcome to the Forum! Glad you found us and as you have the time, read all the "sticky" posts for sure. There is a lot of good information that has been gathered for about 7 months this site has been around.

The P-64 may not be the worlds perfect pistol, but it sure has to be close. I bought my first one just as a Cold War pistol, but once I played with it a little, I was hooked! Please come often and share your comments with us on this great little pistol!

Welcome to the forum!!

There are a lot of us that agree with you on the point of the double action pull acting as additional safety. The design and quality of this pistol is remarkable. I first stated my opinion in "bZingg's introductory post" in the Modifications, Fixes and Repairs section:

The P-64 is just a real good personal protection pistol.
