Hi fellas.
I have a new pattern all ready to go and I must say, it rides high and tight and is very comfortable - easy to hide, too. This pancake is made from 7-8oz US hide and fits belts up to 1 3/4" wide. Thanks!

Will this holster work also as a cross draw holster? If so, how well?

This has a 15 degree forward cant, so I doubt you'd be able to use it effectively as a cross draw. I can, however, adjust the angle if you're looking for a cross draw.

I have heard others makers say their pancake holsters can be used both ways. I had my doubts about that. I truly appreciate your honesty. Let me give this purchase some thought and get back to you. Again, thanks!

I can't speak for other makers - some pancakes have 3 or more slots which would allow them to be used in different ways. But, it seems to me, that a 2 slot pancake with any degree of forward cant wouldn't make an effective crossdraw.
Stay safe.

Very nice work, again some qaulity stuff by dickfunk. Especially since there aren't many pancakes for the p-64 that are molded to fit the pistol measurements exactly. At $55.00 per item, this is very good bargin.

thanks for the post and I hope others will see and order. I Did!!! Oops, a little biased here since the one you see is the one dickfunk made for me.

Just an up-date for those looking for a nice Pan-Cake for their P-64. I ordered the one seen in Pics on this message from Dickfunk and can not say enough about the quality work. My CCW P-64 fits so nicely I hardly notice that its there. Action is smooth from pistol in holster to firing position at the same time it fits tightly in place with no worries of falling out if you hit the ground. (I actually did a roll on the floor and moved into a knelling position gun drawn with no issues or break in action).

at $55.00 shipped, there is no other leather holster maker that can beat the quality and price.

Again, Special Thanks to Dickfunk

Hello, I am new to CHC, I was legal as of Dec. 08, this holster sounds like a gr8 holster, what is an effective garmet for cover for summer carry? Thx. in advance for reply.

GunzRus,
You can cover this one with a t shirt, no problem. The P64 is so slim to begin with, that the holster keeps it close and tight.

Thank you for the info. I ended up ordering a Smart-Carry due to the fact that I have three different carry guns which I alternate, I have holsters for my XD9 SC & SP101 but I would have difficulty hiding them durring summer carry, however if I only had the P64 (gr8 gun) I would go w/your holster, you do VERY nice leather work btw. Again thx. 4 the info.
