Just bought a pristine flat grips '68 Czak on Gunbroker last night, which came with a nice MATCHING '68 holster, cleaning rod, and two mags, for $155 out the door(free shipping). Other listings were for 140, 150, 155, and Zinger's 180+20. Guess which ones will sell first.
Got to thinking that some of you who bought holsters might try trading to match dates with your pistols. This would make a big difference if collectors get involved down the road.
Sure was a good excuse to buy another one. And I have to thank bzzinng for leading me to all these cheaper P-64 deals than the one he is offering!! LMFAO!!!

b52stan,
That was a GREAT deal you got. I have never gotten many good deals from Gunbroker, but once in a while a deal comes along. Congratulations!

Yes Stan, you are a genious!
What was that item no. on GB?
I mean the item number of the actual auction you won with the FREE shipping and all those wonderful accessories.
The reason I'm asking is that I am wondering how a person can pay $140 for one from the wholeseller, pay the shipping and the FFL fee, and the listing fee, and come out with anything but a loss. ??? $140 plus $12 plus $25. plus $5.00=$182.00
Or five bucks either way. It still doesn't add up to me scamming anyone by wanting to get $180.00 for the pistol. I think you were really out of line for saying a thing like that, Stan. Because it isn't the truth is it? I guess you had other motives, I don't know....
Of course, maybe they had it a couple of years and it had some wear and tear, etc....
I'm glad my slightly higher price stimulated you into purchasing though! That's great.
But, as I said, my two '73s are barely fired and quite nice AND I DON'T REALLY CARE WHETHER THEY SELL OR NOT.

If a guy is worried about 20 or 30 bucks on a fabulous little pistol that is really WORTH about three or four hundred, he doesn't need to be buying pistols, Ha! ;D ;D ;D
The TRUTH is, that I am also offering BOTH pistols, with an extra mag (for a total of three each) including a price break if both are bought at once, to the guys here on this board, exclusively! All they have to do to get the deal is message me on this board to find out what the savings are!
So, a guy could end up with a very nice pair of '73s (with the improved triangular trigger and excellent bores and actions) accompanied by SIX FACTORY MAGAZINES, all guaranteed to work perfectly, shipped in one box from my FFL, to save on shipping. AND, they will be buying through Gunbroker so they get that extra protection! When all is said and done, a HECK OF A GOOD DEAL!!! If somebody checks out the GB auction, they should be certain to check out my feedback record, to see the proof about how honest I really am in dealing with others.
In the mean time, somebody who isn't so pinched that they go to pieces over 20 or 30 bucks buying a nice pistol, may bid on the single gun, or buy it from me face to face, since I have one advertised in several places. (That's why I don't have them both listed on the auction, don't you see. Wouldn't be following auction rules..,)
Unfortunately, that means that if I receive a bid on the single pistol listed on Gunbroker, it will necessarily end the availability of the special deal on the pair.

bzinggg, you really needed that 4th year of college, since you tend to shoot your mouth off a lot, without knowing much. And here it is, just for you. A REAL ZINGer!

Just click on the link to instantly embarrass yourself. Oh, and in that fouth year of college, they teach you how to listen and learn until you know what you're talking about. Maybe you should go back for it. LOL.

He says it's scratched and it only comes with two mags instead of three, like mine. And according to the listing he charged shipping??? He's a big dealer with an FFL not a private seller, like me. I don't mind you having a different opinion than me or a lack of a sense of humor. But I don't like you calling me a scammer just because I list at a few dollars more than somebody else.
If you came to the conclusion that I don't know anything, then I must assume that you aren't reading the actual content of my posts. I've had word that not everybody else here agrees with you about that.
Why don't you cool off and apologize for calling me a scammer. I'm not.
I'll apologize for being abrasive on the ammo post, instead of humorous like I intended to be, and we can start over with a civil tone.

OK Zing, time for a truce. Scammer was a bad choice of words, so I apologize. Let's just say you were optimistic on the pricing.
Now, for some info. I actually followed the P-64 listing for the entire week. Found it before you listed. I talked to the part time dealer, and found out the reserve price, and whether the shiny areas on the slide were a camera problem, which they are. I waited till the last minute to bid the exact reserve price. I won the auction, and stated the exact specifics of the kill in the start of this thread. Which reminds me, you called me a liar on that posted info, and if you read further down in the listing, you'll see that he ammended the listing to offer free shipping, too. I always have to tell my wife to "read the whole thing". Another necessary apology? Nah, nebbermind.
He cherry picked this one from another dealer to match the 68 holster. He had bought 400+ holsters from Poland, and there were only two 68's. The Army wore out most of the early ones. This was "on sale" because it was the last matched package he had, and is going on to a new project.
This pistol is unissued, and unfired, like most that are being sold. Some recent re-sellers may have bought and tried the pistols as you did. Therefore, they are USED. And as for the nicks, I have not seen an unissued one that does not have some grip wear. Maybe storage handling, or maybe they cannabilized. This one has much less than most, and they are the original flat grips, not the fragile thumbrest grip that was improvised for import points.
Bottom line is that I did my homework, and have a friend with an FFL to accept it, and pay no tax. I enjoyed the stalk, and have a PPK spring on hand just waiting for a new home.
FWIW, if you enter polish p-64 makarov, and polish p-64 9X18 makarov, and p-64 polish makarov, you'll get most of the comparative listings. They don't all come up for one or the other. Then you can see what you're up against.
Good luck on your sale,
Stan

GOOD!!
I am really hoping the danged pool cue sells so I can take the P-64 off the market anyway!
I really do love these things.
