Standard Arms
I am looking to buy a Standard Arms Kelc-tec copy of an p-11, 9 mm, 10 rd clip. I think it will cost $110-$120 plus shipping. Are these any good? I'd like to have something about that size to carry once in a while. I don't know what they cost new?

I think Standard Arms is out of business, I don't remember anything being said good about em, but then that is second hand info, I don't really know much about them. Personally, I wouldn't drop a $100 bill on one, but that's just my $0.02 worth.

dwd, This is probably about enough info to help decide. http://www.vpc.org/studies/deadstan.htm
I have a Lorcin L-25 and it is not an impressive gun at all, But I Like It enough to shoot it for fun. I only paid $42 for it , It was worth it but only barely. It is not that it is a bad design, just cheap materials were used to make it. They are considered by some to be unsafe, or "suicide guns".
If it only costs $100 or so and you don't have a gun in that caliber, then i personally would probably buy one. (especially the .380 version) I am funky that way. If you shoot it, and can hit what you aim for with it, then, You may have found an excellent little gun. You get what you pay for. (usually much less , of course) Anyways good luck in deciding ! Happy shooting. G
