Does anyone know how close the sig 230/232 grips are to the p-64?
will they work with a little trimming? or is the hole WAY off?

By looking at the grips to the sig 232, it appears it won't work. The rear part of them is way too low even if you were to get them to fit there'd be a hole in the backstrap of the grips. I'd suggest ordering a pair of Zee grips instead they are made for the gun with no fitting and I read he will do just about any color on request.

Have purchased three sets of Zee grips so far -- 1 black & 2
flat gray pairs -- they are a excellent product at a very fair
price.

is there still a seem in the back like the original, or does he address that issue?

I am looking for a seemless (pun not intended) grip solution.

Zee's are molded after the originals, but they are great feeling grips. I think that Himmels boy makes some wood grips that have a one piece backstrap, although I am not for sure. Check the posts or PM him. There is also a guy on the Mak boards who is looking at a set of grips for the P-64 to see about making wood grips. I should know more about those in a couple weeks.

Hi all,
Those grips are not the same. It is a big work to convert them to P64.
Here is a picture of the SIGs inner side. (work in progress version of the grips)

/Hi Bobby! I'm working on it (-:
