Well, it may not be a Browning or FN.....but a FEG PJK-9HP NIB for $235 in 2008 seemed too good to pass up. I believe this is the older version that is an exact clone of the HP.

Norm,

I didn't know they even made a conversion! I knew that the .40 cal barrel has 3 lugs as opposed to 2, but I thought that the whole .40 cal HP was a larger framed pistol??? So they make conversion slide/barrel kits, and they're safe?

stumpie,

The PJK-9HP is a true BHP clone, and fully interchangeable.....although HP parts aren't quite as plentiful and/or asinexpensive as 1911 parts.

WHOA!!! Wore out POS for $175 in my hometown may = parkerizing kit for summer project! I can see it now,

Wife: "honey, are the steaks ready....you've been at that gas grill for a while."

Volfandan: "yeah, I'll put 'em on in a minute....this manganese phosphate is almost the shade I'm after."

Seriously Gray, do tell....who had it?

Vol,
Guns & more on kingston pike had it. With a new "coat on it , it would look good. If I wasn't buying the Springfield I would have grabbed it. ;)

That's CRAZY that I missed it! I actually use Guns & More to do all of my transfers, and just picked this up last Thursday! I may need to drop by tomorrow before work!

Maybe they can hold it while I donate plasma :-/

Will do Papa,

Unfortunately it may be mid March before time allows to get to the range. I guess I could swing by the indoor range....but I hate shooting indoors.

Man I love the look of a BHP and your copy is spectacular! Great pick up, can't wait to hear you singing it's praises...
