PA 63 Ammo

I have a PA63 it jam with Silver Bear ammo JHP
Ball ammo works grate,
is there JHP that works good with this gun.

Many older pistol designs have this issue ... fortunately many can be fixed with a simple buffing (get a cratex tip for your dremel) of the feed ramp. Some feed ramps weren't made as well as others, though, and need a little more modifying ... but this should be a LAST RESORT as you can't put the metal back once it is removed!

For a pure ammo fix, look for the JHP in the 90-95 gr range ... specifically ammo with a similar profile to the ball ... some of the JHP looks more like a 38spl wadcutter, so it shouldn't be a surprise that it won't feed!

I would try the "fluff and buff" of the feed ramp. I've got about 500 rounds down range through my PA-63 using Wolf silver bear JHP and I have not had one problem. I did have a squibb round with wolf round nose rounds that turned out to be missed labled by Georgia Arms and was actually 106 gr. but, the silver bear 95gr works great with mine. I buffed the feed ramp before I ever tried it though.

I have i think its made by barnaul hp 9x18 and it has fed fine in my makarov and pa63. Also at the gun shows i have seen powerball 9x18 its the hp with a polymer ball in it to help with feeding heard that stuff is good as well....

Mine feeds all of it fine, only fed hollow points through it "Silver Bear"
Try Power balls, they should feed well.
