Today I noticed that I had rear sights on my 64! I checked all three of mine a 68, 73 and a 76 and found that each one had the rear sight drifted a little to the left. Is this common? How does one go about moving the said rear sight slightly to the right a little more center without damage to the rear sight and slide? ???

Blinddog,
Don't know what to say, I haven't heard of this as a problem with the P-64 but I'm sure it is not rare.
P.M. normsutton and he will give you the straight dope on how to fix it. It will probably be as simple as a brass punch and a few light taps with a ball-peen hammer. If the sight is mobile I have used fast set Lock tight in the red tube. Put a drop on each side of the sight, wipe off the excess, let it set for fifteen minutes and shoot to your hearts content, my repair hasn't failed after several years.
Either way it should be a simple fix, good luck.
