OT CZ-82 dismantle

Post by dolang1 »

I got inspired by Troy's amazing manual, so I spent the morning taking my CZ-82 apart to prepare it for nickel plating. With my brother's assistance we got it down to the safety. The only two parts still together are the safety and the frame. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Later Don

Ok, I got the last pin out. I'm ready for the plater. This project made me realize just how tedious it must have been for Troy to create his manual. Patience is a virtue. Thanks a lot, Troy. Later Don

The hardest part was operating the camera and hold the parts. My CZ-82 is refinished already and just awaiting to put it back together again.

My CZ-82 is in 3 sandwich bags. I'll take one to the plater. When it comes back, I'll mix the other two bags together and send them in one bag to Troy. Just kidding, but it is nice knowing there is people like that out there to bail me out. Later Don
