Mary Land gun laws

I do not know... maybe they think that a person or worker that just had blown a fuse will run to the gunshop pick up an AK47 and go postal..and the waiting period willcool this customer down...I think if somebody is crazy and short tempered today will be crazy tomorrow as well.... it is all political games... good source of political fuel for the socialistic liberal crapski..
It makes as much sens as for our immigration officers to let in to the country wanted terrorist on a student visa... and the same time to throw against the wall an eighty years old Polish grandma cuff her up lock her up and send back to Poland so her visit will not demage the economy...there is a lot of bs going on...the gun control is a big one just shows that somwhere we had lost the common sense.... and that is a serious crime in my book...

Here in Minnesota you have to get a hangun permit, that takes about a week maybe less. Then a 5 minute phonecall and walk out the door. Thats for a handgun. Long gun just the phone call and out the door.

I have lived in N.C. since last June. Before that I was a Maryland resident for 50 years. I now have a CCW permit, that in M.D. is almost unattainable unless you have a diamond buisness! This permit allows me when I visit my son in Delaware to carry thru, N.C., to V.A[legal], to M.D.[ where it is Not recognized and I am illegal], to the P.A. state line where they recognize the N.C. permit[legal], to Del. who also recognizes it! Its just goofy. I have always abided by the law and most states reward that. Maryland however, with one of most hightest crime and murder rates in the nation, doesn't allow a law abiding citizen to Legally protect themself even though law enforment can't. Thank God our freedom is protected in some states.

Maryland is a perfect example of how Gun Control doesn't work for the reduction of violent crime. Never has and never will. All it does it limit the rights of law abiding citizens or worse make criminals of those gun owners that refuse to change with the laws. It hurts the Good Guys and helps the Bad Guys.

It's not meant to address violent crime--at best, it's meant to make people THINK the politicos are adressing violent crime, at worst it's meant to disarm the citizenry at large to make them easier to control.
