P-64 jams

Post by roblee »

When I first got it, it fired without hick ups. Now I cannot shoot it at all it jams on every single round and I have used 3 types of ammo in it, just to make sure it's not ammo. I wish that I could post photo of a jam here, but don't know how.

Define "jam." Stovepipe, double feed, failure to eject, something else?

How much shooting did you do before it started having issues? Did you ever clean it? Did the problem start before or after you did or didn't clean it?

Upload the image to a image host. Photobucket is a good one and it's free. Then copy the url in a post here and put (img) at the beginning and (/img) at the end:

Such as:(img)www.photobucket.com/image#(/img)

Only you need to use the square brackets[] instead of the parenthesis(). If I used the []'s it would have showed up. ;)

A pic would help. From my personal experience of mine and a few friends, the P-64's have been bulletproof when it comes to problems. I'd like to see what's going on.

"preacher" is correct, even this old bird was able to get signed up on photobucket and I can post photos now, LOL

I have read of VERY few malfunctions with the P-64. "dickfunk" has some problems with case bulges, but it worked. Any manufactured item will have some lemons that get thru the system, and you just hope yours is not one on them. Even then, there is always a "fix". Good luck on getting set up pn photobucket and then it will be much easier to solve the problem.
