Anyone use a Don Hume holster?

Post by mattswabb »

I have one for the G27 and love it. Very small, holds tight and fits real tight against my side. I also have a Fobus and blackhawk paddle holster for it for when I don't wear a belt. I do plan on buying the Fobus for the sig 230/232.

Just wondering if anyone has tried a Don Hume sig 230/232 holster on the P64? Any of their products for the sig.

Here's my g27 in the Jit slide:

I use the Don Hume IWB holster with metal clip and single mag carrier with metal clip sized for Sig P230/232. Good combo. Easy on & off. Perfect fit.

That looks like a nice holster. I've been using the fobus paddle for sig 230/232. I like it fine, it is a great fit but I might try a leather one soon too.

I'm waiting on my fobus to come in. I'll report on them both. Carried the P64 for the 1st time tonight in the new holster. Sat tight to my side.

Got the tip from this board. Initially tight, but great fit. Wish I was in Kapalua right now...

Hi mattswabb,

I have the JIT Slide for both the G27 and the P64 and the one for the P64 is even better. Not as top heavy as the G27 and much thinner obviously.

It is the one I recommend.

Stibnite,
That looks great.
BTW, are you missing a grip screw? If anyone is, send me a self addressed envlope and I'll mail you a couple of the hex heads free.

Nope, not yet. The grips in the JIT Slide picture are walnut made by Dennis Marschalko. They came with their own grip screw and countersunk nut, which is a nice touch. It looks similar to this picture by another forum member:

Well of all the holsters I have, the Don Hume JIT slide (for the sig 230/232) is the best carry holster I have had in a long time. It fits so good I almost forget its there.
The clipdraw is great when I,m in a hurry, its almost like the mexican carry.
The Forbus is great when it colder and I,m wearing a jacket.

But the Don Hume is just rich looking.
