Ammo Availability

Post by saoirse »

I'm new to the board, just taking ownership of a 1975 P-64 a few days ago. I've been looking at grips, holsters, you know all the must have things. I get some of my ammo from, well a well known supplier, who usually has prices that are cheaper than,,,,,well anyway, when I went to order from a catalog I just got The FMJ ammo was out of stock, with a liner that said a one shot deal. the Hollow points were in stock but were over a buck more a box than the flyer said. A good price in a flyer isn't good if your out or the real price is much higher. If I didn't have any I'd sell mine for $5.00 a box! Anyway Ill get off this soapbox, but where do you guys get your ammo?

I just got 500rds of silver bear fmj from Aim. With shipping it ran 79.50. Still cheaper than the 13.00 plus tax for ammo per box here were I live.
