All Right,,,,Here is the truth....I ordered a set of HIMMEL'S SON grips made from black walnut. A kid making grips hell I carve myself. I received the grips took them to the range and the third shot blew out the back strap, and the webbing of my hand between thumb and palm. I dug pieces of walnut out of my hand and put on a set of ZEE GRIPS and continued shooting. Chris took the back and put a rosewood back strap on the same side panels. After installing them my slide would not move to the rear. I tried to alter the back strap. to allow the slide to go back, but no go . Two friends at work just ordered two p-64s from sog; Both came with cracked thumb shelf grips. I gave one guy a set of ZEE GRIPS, but both tried Chris's grip and they would not work on either pair of czaks.... Silly maybe??? Two tries on three different p-64s....Come on guys???

truth, do you post on other forums or do you just infect this one? Do you ever post anything positive? Your posts here are so completely negative they have no impact or "truth" to them. You haven't posted for a week, then you post to 4 threads on Friday night. Put down the Budweiser.

It sure is nice to have you keep track of my post for me, I can't thank you enough. Tennessee whiskey maybe ....... No Bud.

Looks like a recycled post too--posted it once at another thread, then reposted it at the same thread, and now here-- Christian answered it there, since "Truth" took the trouble to put it in different locations I'll answer it here--When the grips were sent back for repair, there was no discernible wood missing--"Truth" had mentioned digging splinters out of his hand (they have now grown to "hunks") and even then Christian had told me he didn't see how that could be, there wasn't any wood missing that he could see. This biz about hunks of wood cutting the whatever out of his hand is a best an exaggeration, which I have been content to let pass until he decided to plaster it all over the forum. The grips were repaired, he complained that he still couldn't get them to fit right (just like his Zee grips--told me he could never get them to fit right either, that's why he ordered from Christian in the first place) but he would just call it even. So there's the real truth.
