So anywho I was gonna 2 order a mainspring but didn't wanna wait 4 it so I figured I'd just cut the original. If I replaced it I wouldn't have done nuttin w/it so what the hey. Was shootin' 4 1 1/2 turns but shaded it a tad so let's call it 1 17/32. Didn't cost anything but the xtra set of dremmel cutoff wheels that I needed any way. Still has quite the preload as it took a while 2 line up the pin. On the down side whie @ WallyWorld I couldnt help but notice they had 2 2 many boxes of 100 round white box @ 12.88 a box n 1 2 many 147gn jhp @12.98. Here in a bit I'll step out back n run some SB 94gn hp n see what shakes. Don't have any idea what poundage I'm runnin' but it's a whole lot better than what it was..............................
36 rounds later everything seems 2 be functioining. Much better DA but still nuttin' 2 write home 2 Mom about. Amazingly accurate even w/can't hardly see mini sights..........................

I haven't had any contact w/wolfsprings. If ya snoop 'round ya see where 'bout a year ago supposedly WS ws lookin' in2 a recoil spring(s) but that hasn't happened & I ain't holdin' my breath. They do make the p-63 spring in 15# that folks are cuttin' down 2 fit the 64. Maybe they'll design a 15# 4 da 64. Ya would think w/over 700 members here that there would be a large enough demand. I plan on ending up w/4-5 64's & if I have 2 cut a spring I'll only do 1 n swap it w/da 1 I'm shootin' @ da time. The 64 chunks hulls 'bout as far as a cz52 w/original springs which is 2 far but they make springs 4 it as well so 1 o' these days.....................

Does the PA-63 spring drag on the inside of the slide like the P-7 spring does?

Here is the reply I got From Wolff on the 17th about P-64 replacement springs. If we all send them an e-mail maybe it will happen sooner.
Thank you for writing and interest in our products. We do have "plans" to make replacement springs for the P64 but we are not currently involved in that project.

John Andrews
