I just recently purchased a P64. It's a 1970 model, so it shows some signs of use. Something I can't quite understand is the rear sight. It's off-center just enough to throw off accuracy at about 10yds. As far as I know, the sights are supposed to be fixed, similar to my Makarov.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, is it an easy fix?

Re: P64 rear sights off-center
i have adjusted my rear sight almost to where you have yours to shoot perfect. just take a small screw driver and hammer and tap it where you want it. put a cloth or something between the driver and rear sight.

I, too, thought I remember the sight being in an, albeit small, dovetail and could be moved. I used a wooden dowel and hammer.

Re: P64 rear sights off-center
I have heard of back sites needing adjustment, but none of mine have required it.
