New springs are available from forum member NORM SUTTON for $6.50 shipped. He takes PayPal and the info for new trigger springs AND slide-stop springs is on the first/home page of this forum. If you think the spring is bad, there's your fix! :mrgreen:

To m, that spring is the weak point in the design. I am definitely replace it before firing my P-64.
