I just received my P-64. It is a 1972 with the round hammer. I would prefer the latter triangular pointed one. Are they interchangeable?

I do believe they are. I've seen some post 74's with the round hammer.

Thanks, but why would someone want the round hammer instead of the triangular one? I can work the round one OK, but think the newer one would be a bit easier.
