This is a new pistol from RIA that debuted at this years Shot Show. It is based on a shortened
.223 cartridge. It also supposedly will include a 9mm Luger barrel as well. It is a double stack
setup. This combo reportedly gives a velocity in the 2100fps range with a 22 cal bullet. WOW!
I want one provided they would make it in a single stack version for us in the People's Republic
of Kalifornia!
Wonder if that .22 cartridge is even practical. May as well just stick with the .22 Mag or .17HMR. Just seems like another way for an ammo company to get money from suckers willing to pay the expensive amount... kind of like .22 Hornets. Random cartridge that has a steep price per box. Hmmm.

I totally agree. While it may fall in the same category, this gun makes more sense as a single stack chambered in 5.7, to me. Maybe that's why the gun is pictures sitting on top of a box of 45 auto, made by armscore at that!
Note the empties leaving brass marks behind the port.
I did notice the brass marks on the slide. I have a cheap little .22 pistol that does that. I failed to notice the pistol was sitting on a box of .45's. I looked at the box but didn't pay enough attention to see it. I guess the 9mm barrel is about the only plus side to it. It's the least they could do, include a "cheaper" cartridge barrel since the .22 TCM would probably make you go broke.
