p64 single action problem

Post by m48yugo »

Took my new p64 (from SOG) to the range. accuracy was very surprising! Used s and b ammo. After a box of ammo pulled trigger
and hammer would not fall! Hammer would sometimes drop and
sometimes it would'nt. Took the gun apart and noticed the little
metal peice that should? contact the trigger bar flooping around.
If this metal peice is up the hammer falls if not it won't. is thier a spring missing? fell out? this is in the frame? any ideas guys? thanks.

THE METAL PEICE I THINK IT'S CALLED A TRIGGER BAR
AT ONE END OF IT GOES INTO THE TREGGER AND RIGHT AFTER THAT THERE IS LITTLE PEICE THAT STICKS IN AND THE TAIL OF THE TREGGER SPRING PUSHES UP ON IT

HOPE THAT HELPS

I COULD TELL YOU OVER PHONE

looked in the p64 manual, the loose peice is the disconnector. Should
the trigger bar be attached to the trigger bar with a spring? What should keep the disconnector in the "up" position when the hammer is cocked?

THE TREGGER RETURN SPRING DOSE THAT LOOK AT THIS PICTURE
http://img229.imageshack.us/my.php?image=40uo.jpg

THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN SEE THIS ON YOUR GUN IS TO TAKE SLIDE OFF AND THEN TAKE THE SLIDE STOP OFF THEN YOU SEE A WINDOW IN FRAME

YOU COULD HAVE A BROKEN TREGGER RETRUNE SPRING
