SITREP
If you're reading this, then you've made it from the old site. Obviously, we've moved, but there's a little more to it than a simple address change. I consider us to have broken free from the limitations of Proboards as a result of this move. Why wasn't it done sooner? Let's just say it wasn't as easy as one may think. I've been working on doing this for the past 6 months now. In any case, I hope this move provides some continuity between forums, ease of use, and provides an extra layer of security. Almost every feature you guys have asked me about in the past is now available to you. We're running the latest version of phpbb's forum software. Plus, no more forced ads.
What didn't make it
All PM's, forum attachments, and Proboards hosted avatars (user images).
What did make it
Nearly everything. All members, posts, threads, and sections. There hasn't been any new data since I locked the board down yesterday afternoon (3.09.2010) for maintenance.
To login and get back in the saddle:
You should have received a PM from the old site containing your new temporary password. If you did not get the PM, or it doesn't work, you can simply use the forgotten password link and your new temp. password will be emailed to you at the email address we have on file for you. As usual, you guys can email me if you have any questions or need help.
A favor
We have many links out there that point to the Proboards site. I intend on locking it up and disabling the old boards to eliminate any confusion. I'll also put a message up that indicates we've moved displayed with the new url (this address). I know a lot of you guys frequent other boards, too, so if you know of a post or thread or any other area that may have our old forum address, I'd appreciate it if you could update it. I'm not asking you to flood other forums with an announcement of our move, just if you have a post you can edit, I would be great if you could point it here.
Instead of keeping everything locked up until we get all of the settings setup, we've opened it up now. Please bear with us while we finish tweaking everything to get it just right. If you see something disappear or something change color, it's likely being worked on.
Thanks for your continued support and devotion - this forum has some of the best members anywhere; bar none. I hope this move makes using this place more enjoyable.

Re: Welcome home!
Very nice job...the place looks slicker than goose-grease on a doorknob.

Re: Welcome home!
Thanks for even notifying me! I think I had 1 whole post before the change, so I'm not a regular, but looking over this forum I really enjoy it, and I'm glad to be here, Sgt P.
