So in the interest of curiosity I will be testing the following rounds once the snow melts off my acreage. ::)
PowRBall 70gr
assorted Brown and silver bear ammo
Hornady95gr XTP
Maybe a few hand loads too. ::)
Now if you are in the Market for PowRBall ammo, the only place that I was able to order some from was from Dakota ammo.
Here is the link

It came out to about 31-34 ish with shipping >:( and that is just for 20 rounds. Hornady is cheaper if you want a American made HP.

Not only will I be testing the rounds against each other on how they perform but I will also be testing them in two different guns the p-64 as well as the cz82.
Why the two different guns you may ask? ??? Well for one shooting is just fun but besides that.. I did testing last year with a full size 357 vs a snubby 2inch 357 with about 18 different 357 loads and types (yep my wrist hurt) and it was amazing to see how the bullets acted different depending upon which gun they were shot out of. Some of the HP rounds worked better in the snub since they opened up slower due to lower FPS and there for gave deeper penetration with still good expansion.
Some did not open up well at all in the snubby but worked better in the full sizes frame.
So I figured since I have both guns I might as well test both of them.
I figure it will be about another month before I can get to it but it should be fun.
I will be using both water jugs and wet pack. Hell I might try Jell-O too.

I will also run a chrono and do some grouping too.
My milk jug testing will be pretty much the same protocol as they use off of the BOX of TRUTH.com
Also kind of off topic but I will be testing 7.62x25 vs 357 and 357sig in a war of penetration (not really use full but fun). The cool part is, is that work is going to give me some bullet resistant glass they have laying around. Should be fun but I don't plan to do any of that testing till around Jun or July.
If you have any input go ahead and spill the beans.
