lucznik p-64 arrived today

Post by jebib3 »

so I was expecting a "radom" but received a "lucznik" instead. Its year of manufacture was 1968. My FFL said it was a really nice pistol too. I plan on taking it out to the range tomorrow, weather permitting. Weather not permitting there is always the indoor range. But what I'm curious about is the name? Is the fact that it's not a radom anything special? bib

I believe that is stamped by the importer. Radom is the city were the Łucznik Arms Factory is located. Radom and Łucznik both refer to the same place.

Fabryka Broni „Łucznik”- Radom

means Archer Arms Factory, Radom in English.

BTW: Mine is marked Z. M. Lucznik P 64
Which stands for Zakłady Mechaniczne "Łucznik" or Archer Mechanical Plant in English
