Well, went in Academy Sports and they had stacks of Monarch (Barnaul) 9x18 for $9.99 per 50... I feel much better now!
Hopefully, they will continue to stock it... They had tons of Monarch in the typical stuff including 7.62x39...

I got my first 9x18 pistol, my P64 in... And was worried about finding ammo locally...
Well, went in Academy Sports and they had stacks of Monarch (Barnaul) 9x18 for $9.99 per 50... I feel much better now!

Start reloading, you get a new hobby and you'll be amazed how really inexpensive shooting can be.

Same here at our local Academy. It's decent ammo for the price, kinda dirty though and probably not as accurate as some. I've just never been a big fan of steel cased ammo. Fired a few hundred rounds through my CZ-82 and P-64, and it went bang every time. Plenty good enough for some range fun or just plinking.
