MY Latest Ruger

Recently picked up my third Ruger, its a Security Six .357. I made it to the range the last week with it, it was raining and cool but I had to go, at our range we have a lower range for pistols and it has a gabled metal roof roughly 40' x 40' so I pulled one of the target stands under the roof and set it up so I could shoot.

I took 3 different .357 loads,

158gr LSWC with W231 @ 4.0gr
158gr LRN with W231 @ 4.0gr
125gr JSP wth Unique @ 7.0gr

158gr LRNP with Unique 4.0gr

I was pleased with all four loads, the .357 125gr JSP with 7.0gr of Unique shot the best for me. The Ruger Security Six handled the hotter load really well. This was my best target using the 125gr JSP, using a standing free two hand grip at 7yds with a 1 1/4" group. I really like this Ruger with the 6" bbl.
