The Berretta and the Berandelli are nice. Bersa makes a .22 but the new ones have aluminum frames now, my old one is all steel.

Here is a side by side of my P64 and Firestorm 22. They are similar designs, both having barrels attached to the frame. The Firestorm 22 is dead accurate and works flawlessly with Aguila 22 Super Maximum Hyper Velocity ammo. It does not always cycle well with standard 22LR ammo. I have read that this particular Aguila 22 ammo has the same impact as a 380.

I have shot some of the Aguila 22 Super Maximum Hyper Velocity ammo when they first came out. I found the highly inconsistent. Some came out of my 10-22 with a 20" barrel at over 1750fps. Some didn't even come near that close. Out of a 5" .22 Colt Conversion unit, I will need to Chrono them. I can say, out of the Colt, they leaded badly after a few magazines but results on jackrabbits was spectacular. Out of a long barrel and if you use 30grains and 1750 fps, they will be around the muzzel energy of a .380. :o

Muzzle Velocity:1750 fps
