You just have to laugh. I have seven pistol calibers and five rifle calibers to reload for and after buying a reloader, I have not been able to put together enough components/powder/bullets to try one size for the very first time.

electross,

I feel your pain, I only started reloading recently too, however, I have been able to find all the components I have needed so for for my 4 handgun calibers, as for rifles, so far I have plenty of ammo for all eight rifle calibers, just recently found a Lee .38 die set that I had been looking for for some time. Your right though, its extremely hard to find most components for reloading. I am fortunate to be in a area were primers and powder are still available for the most part, the only item I can't get a hold of is Sm pistol primers, I have plenty of Winchester Lg. pistol primers and Sm. mag pistol primers and plenty of powder and cast and jacketed bullets and brass for all my handgun loads, however, all of these components are getting harder and harder even here to get, so unless something changes they will dry up here too.

papabear, Just received an e-mail that my Rainier bullets and .45 cal die set will be arriving. Powder is not hard to find and I was fortunate to have found some large pistol primers this past January. Looks like I'm on the road to re-loading for my 1911. Have been collecting lead wheel weights and have two, five gallon buckets filled. Casting my own is where I am eventually headed. But right now that is even more items to try and collect. This is suppose to be fun so I'm going to shoot what I have and be patient. I do have plenty of surplus 8mm and 7.62X54R, so I will enjoy for now my Mosin and Mauser. Chat later.

That is funny but afraid that it might soon be all too real.
I was lucky I had just started to reload as this whole ammo and shortages of componets started. but still had trouble getting everything I needed. but am set up nicely now. took a lot of hunting and one trip to Fla. to get some stuff... I have started to melt lead and cast my own bullets it is a fun past time and thanks to people on board(papabear and Norm) am almost good at this reloading stuff.
