Clip Draw and Rust

This is for everyone that uses a Clip Draw or some other non-protective carry system in the summer time or in warm weather, I have a caution. I use a Clip Draw alot and I took apart the slide on my P-64 and OMG I found rust in it. I thought I kept a squeeky clean well oiled firearm, but I was proven wrong. In the small spring holes like the extractor spring, indicator lock, those small out of the way places where I oiled but did not clean properly. I did not think that the sweat on the frame could get into the inside of the slide! I have learned a valuable lesson. When ya clean a gun ..clean the gun.
