Went to JG to get another p64 and ended up coming home with a PSL54. Really looking forward to taking it out. Anyone have any experience with these rifles? I managed to get the scope attachment adjusted and the gun cleaned up.

Been real busy with the HAM javelina hunt and have not had as much time as I would have liked to play with the psl. I did get it out to check the scope. I was able to get the scope mount fitted nicely but the scope still needs some time dialing it in, close but not there yet. The rifle shoots extremely accurate with iron sights.
The first thing I noticed when using the scope with the eyepiece installed is how close you have to be to the scope. This concerned me as I did not want a cut around the eye when shooting a larger caliber rifle. The psl did not move enough to notice any added pressure on the eyepiece. The recoil was so lightly felt that I was able to keep the target in sight while shooting. JG sales said that they have had people express concern about the thinner barrel holding zero when the rifle is shot a lot and not allowed to cool down. I did not try to shoot quickly as I was more concerned about sighting and familiarizing myself with the rifle. Hopefully I can get back out with it in the next couple of weeks and really find out what the rifle is capable of at distances.
Here is a picture for comparison of my psl, cetme and ak

The PSL, the biggest DO WANT on my rifle list right now.
I just need to decide which gets priority on my money right now: firearms, or computer upgrade. :-/
