lacquer vs non lacquer

I'm a little new to this surplus game.especilly the ammo so bear with me.(sorry for the pun).If price and everything else being equal why choose brown bear(lacquer) over silver(no lacquer)?

Like Norm we all prefer brass but will shoot what we can get.
Never had a problem with the lacquered ammo, I shoot mostly brown bear since the silver has become so hard to find, it is very accurate out of all my 9x18 pistole's and the price is right. Very good ammunition in my opinion.
