Prices going up, up, up.....

Post by fritzhund »

:'(

I just looked around at some of the normal C&R websites I go to, checking stock and prices on a regular basis. I noticed that everything is creeping up. For instance, SOG has raised their prices on everything!

There must be millions of PA-63's out there, because it looks like all of the dealers have them in stock. I was thinking about picking up another one, but they are now up around $150.00 OR MORE!!! I bought my first one for $99.00 a couple of years ago. CZ-52's are climbing as well. Same thing with the P-64.

I mean, c'mon, these are surplus guns that are decades old. These are not high priced Colt & S&W collectibles.

And now they want to start screwing with the ammo too!

Wow, if you want something, better get it now before even the mil-surp stuff is un-affordable.

Don't forget that expenses go up for business as well.Insurance, elec, wages, gas etc.Although I think some companies use this as an excuse to raise prices and do not spread the profits around. >:(

At the last gun show I attended in November, I saw a PA-63 going for 250! I laughed and saw a CZ-52 for even higher! I had mine on me at the show, which had extreme extraction problems, so I traded the dude my CZ-52 for the PA-63, plus he bought the original holster for $25, which I used to buy 100 rounds of makarov ammo and then still have some left over for lunch.
