Finally a member of the club - got me 2!

Post by blacktop »

Well, I'm finally a member of the P-64 club, so to speak - I picked up my two P-64s from my FFL today. Got me a '69 and a '73 from MCS so I could have both types of hammers. When my wife asked me why I bought two I told her I got free shipping that way! As far as I can tell, they are like new. I'll have to get them cleaned up and post some pix. Then on to the shooting!

Good decision. I also made sure that I got both versions from MCS. Mine were also like new.

Good for you and welcome! You must have bought Paul's last of the later hammers because I bought one of his on Saturday and he was all out of those. I'll be anxious to see what your comparisons of each turn-out to be. I hope I like my earlier hammer. I heard the only internal difference is a heavier trigger spring. I hope that's all!!! ::) Please keep in touch and let us know how each perform!

Dave :)

Dave

you didn't hear that here from me
the round hammer has a longer firing pin and the trigger return spring has 4 rapes of square .028 dia wire in them
