Hi Norm, very nice, did not know that Sam's came with 30 LPI checkering both front and rear? If that was an after market add it was a very nice one and made the purchase that much sweeter, like the holster also, how do you do it?

if you knottiest I buy a lot of used guns something I can work on , when I bought this one I went to two guns show's and then finding it in a gun shop, papabear is the one to watch he finds the best deals

if you look at the first pix you see the checkering and the last pix its not there I don't like checkering I took it off , it felt like I was holding a course wood file may hand,

Norm, I did notice the change in the frame and thought the photo's were just out of sequence, how did you remove the checkering?

I had to use a grinding wheel the a sand paper wheel then I a fine steel wire wheel then sand blasted it
