Going to be a quick trip, but we need to go to clearwater to see my wife's grandmother. She is 92, so it may be one of the last times we get to see her. Hope to drop by the old sheriff's office and see the sheriff. We use to work the road together in the '70s.
I'll let you know when I'm back.

Better take your raincoat! Kinda wet and windy here (Central Florida).
Have a safe trip. BTW, there is a gun show in Orlando this weekend. God bless your grandmother-in-law.

Sam,

Have a safe trip, I know you are going to see your wife's grandmother and hope you all have a good visit with her.

BTW you make me green with envy getting to the Clearwater area, as you know, that's my old stomping grounds of the 60's, Clearwater Beach, Madeira Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, and of course St Pete Beach.

Hayden,
Wonder how many times you out "ran" me when I worked that area as a Deputy. :D
Too bad we can't go back, lots & lots of good times there.

Sam, your right about the good times there back then. I don't know if I out ran you are not, I got caught a couple times, once on Madeira Beach and once on Indian Rocks Beach.....at least those are the only two times I remember.

This was me at the pool at the Bayshore Royal Hotel in the summer of '66, this was my HQ for running my traps on the Gulf Coast, it was our quarters off base from MacDill while they were tearing down the old WWII barracks we had been quartered in.
